This original Yanmar oil pressure switch is used to monitor the engine oil pressure. The switch sends a signal to the warning system when the oil pressure is too low.
A faulty oil pressure switch can cause incorrect warning signals or no warning at all when oil pressure drops. Replacement is recommended when the switch is leaking, damaged or no longer giving a reliable signal.
