Complete repair kit for the early Volvo Penta trim cylinder with part number 872612.
This version uses an imperial-thread end cap measuring approximately 39.4 mm across the thread. It is different from the later metric 3860881 cylinder and the repair kits are not interchangeable.
The kit includes a new end nut with installed pressure and dust seals, piston seal and O-rings.
One kit repairs one trim cylinder. Volvo Penta drives using this system have two cylinders, so order two kits when rebuilding both sides.
Measure the threaded section of your existing end cap and check the cylinder design before ordering. Especially on DP-E drives, either cylinder version may be installed.
