Parts for the complete cooling system
A properly working cooling system prevents overheating and protects the engine from serious damage. Here you’ll find cooling parts for Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Vetus, Nanni, Perkins and other well-known brands.
Our
water pumps category includes complete seawater pumps and other pumps used in the cooling system. If the coolant is not circulating correctly, see our
circulation pumps.
We also supply
heat exchangers and aftercoolers, end caps, seals, thermostat housings, cooling pipes and molded hoses. Depending on the product, genuine, aftermarket, used and refurbished options may be available.
Seawater and freshwater cooling
Most installations use both a seawater circuit and a closed coolant circuit. The seawater pump draws water through the intake and sends it through the heat exchanger before it leaves through the exhaust. Inside the engine, the circulation pump moves coolant between the engine and heat exchanger.
A worn impeller, leaking pump seal, blocked heat exchanger or damaged hose can reduce the water flow. Common warning signs include a rising temperature, reduced water from the exhaust, coolant loss or traces of corrosion around connections.
If you are carrying out regular maintenance rather than replacing the complete pump, you can also view our
impellers,
thermostats and water-pump repair parts.
Check the engine version and part number
Cooling parts often changed during an engine’s production. Two engines with the same basic model name may use different pumps, hoses or heat-exchanger parts.
Before ordering, check the complete model, serial number and original part number. Also compare the shape and connections with the photos on the product page. This is especially important for water pumps, molded hoses and cooling pipes.
If the original number is unreadable, send us the engine details and a clear photo of the old part. For hoses and pipes, include the connection sizes and overall shape so we can help you check the correct replacement.
