Engine gaskets and gasket sets
A damaged or hardened gasket can cause oil, coolant, seawater, exhaust gas or compression leaks. Replacing the gasket in time can prevent a small leak from turning into a larger repair.
Here you’ll find individual gaskets, O-rings, sealing washers and complete gasket sets for Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Nanni and other marine engines. The category includes head gaskets, valve-cover gaskets, intake and exhaust-manifold gaskets, thermostat-housing gaskets, oil-cooler seals and gasket sets for heat exchangers and aftercoolers.

Finding the correct gasket
Use the original part number whenever possible. Gaskets for different engine versions can look very similar but may have different holes, thicknesses or sealing surfaces. The complete engine designation and serial number are therefore important.
Take extra care when ordering a head gasket. Some engines use different gasket thicknesses or versions. Check the markings on the old gasket and compare them with the information on the product page. If the cylinder head or engine block has been machined, additional checks may be necessary before choosing the replacement.
If you are unsure, send us the engine model, serial number and the number from the old gasket. A clear photo of the old gasket and the location where it was fitted can also help.
Before fitting a new gasket
Remove the old gasket material carefully and inspect both sealing surfaces. They should be clean and free from corrosion, damage and old sealant. Do not use additional sealant unless the engine manufacturer or gasket instructions specifically require it.
Always follow the correct tightening order and torque settings. Some cylinder-head bolts and other fasteners must also be replaced rather than reused. Check the engine manual before assembly.
