Barnacle Buster is a powerful marine descaler developed to remove barnacles, calcium, limescale, rust and other mineral deposits from seawater-cooled equipment. The cleaning solution can be circulated through the cooling system, allowing deposits to be removed with minimal dismantling. It is ideal for cleaning marine engine cooling systems, heat exchangers, oil coolers, intercoolers and other equipment exposed to seawater. Connect a suitable external circulation pump and reservoir. Fill the circuit with the correctly prepared Barnacle Buster solution. Circulate it through the system until cleaning is complete. Drain the cleaning solution and rinse the entire system thoroughly with fresh water. The required circulation time depends on the amount of contamination. Follow the instructions on the packaging for the correct application time and dilution. Cleaning removed components Remove the component from the system. Completely immerse it in the prepared cleaning solution. Leave it to soak, preferably with some circulation or agitation. Remove the component and rinse it thoroughly with fresh water.
