Its flexible corrugated construction makes it suitable for installation in restricted engine compartments while helping prevent the hose from collapsing around bends. The inner tube is manufactured from black synthetic rubber formulated to resist exhaust gases and seawater. High-tensile textile reinforcement and an embedded steel-wire helix provide strength and help the hose retain its shape. The abrasion-, heat-, oil-, fuel- and marine-resistant outer cover is designed for demanding engine-room conditions.
