High-quality 40 mm marine wet-exhaust hose for water-cooled exhaust systems on motorboats, sailing yachts, generators and auxiliary engines.
The hose carries the mixture of exhaust gases and cooling water from the exhaust elbow to the waterlock, silencer or hull outlet. Its flexible corrugated construction makes it suitable for installation in restricted engine compartments while helping prevent the hose from collapsing around bends.
The inner tube is manufactured from black synthetic rubber formulated to resist exhaust gases and seawater. High-tensile textile reinforcement and an embedded steel-wire helix provide strength and help the hose retain its shape.
The abrasion-, heat-, oil-, fuel- and marine-resistant outer cover is designed for demanding engine-room conditions.
This hose complies with SAE J2006 R2 and ISO 13363 Type 2 Class B requirements and carries RINA and Lloyd’s Register approvals.
