Fuel additives and cleaning products
This category contains products for treating diesel fuel and cleaning deposits from cooling systems. These products can help with specific maintenance jobs, but they should always be used according to the instructions on the container.

Using a diesel additive
A diesel additive may be used to help keep fuel stable or reduce problems caused by contamination and deposits. The correct dosage depends on the product and the amount of fuel in the tank.
Do not assume that adding more will produce a better result. Measure the amount carefully and follow the stated mixing ratio. An additive cannot repair worn injectors, a blocked filter or another mechanical fault.
If you are dealing with contaminated fuel, also inspect the tank and replace the fuel filters when necessary.
Cleaning the cooling system
A descaling product can be used to remove mineral buildup, rust and other deposits from cooling passages and heat exchangers. Always check whether the product is suitable for the materials in your system.
Follow the stated circulation time and mixing instructions. Once cleaning is complete, flush the system thoroughly before refilling it with the correct coolant or returning it to normal use.
Never mix different cleaning chemicals or additives unless the manufacturer specifically says that they are compatible.
