Yanmar GM engines have been used in sailing yachts and smaller motorboats for many years. Although the different versions share quite a few components, there are also important differences between them.

Maintenance and repair parts
For regular maintenance, you’ll usually need parts such as oil and fuel filters, an impeller, drive belts and engine anodes. Depending on the job, you may also be looking for a thermostat, gasket, seal or complete service kit.
We also stock parts for larger repairs, including seawater pumps, circulation pumps, fuel-system parts, exhaust components and engine mounts.
Check your complete engine model
The GM range includes several versions, such as the 1GM10, 2GM20F and 3GM30F. Parts can differ between raw-water-cooled and freshwater-cooled engines, even when the engine names look similar.
Check the full model designation on the engine identification plate and compare the original part number where possible. If you’re not sure, send us the engine model, serial number and a photo or number from the old part. We’ll help you check it before ordering.
