Electrical parts for starting, charging and engine control
Electrical problems can cause starting trouble, charging faults, incorrect instrument readings or warning messages. Here you’ll find electrical parts for maintenance and repairs, from conventional starter motors and alternators to sensors, wiring and electronic control units.
You can browse the main product groups below:
Our selection covers Volvo Penta, Yanmar, Vetus, Nanni and other makes. Depending on the product, you may find genuine parts, good aftermarket replacements and used or refurbished options. The available condition and manufacturer are shown on each product page.
Check more than the engine model
Electrical parts can look almost identical while having a different voltage, output, connector or mounting arrangement. An alternator may have the correct shape but a different amperage or pulley. Starter motors can differ in voltage, power, rotation and number of teeth. Sensors and control units are particularly dependent on the correct engine version and part number.
Before ordering, compare the number on the old part with the reference numbers on the product page. Also check whether the system uses 12 or 24 volts and compare the electrical connections.
When replacing an expensive control unit, display or instrument panel, it is sensible to confirm that the original unit is actually faulty. Damaged wiring, poor connections, corrosion, low battery voltage or a faulty sensor can sometimes produce similar symptoms.
Need help checking the correct part?
Search the website using the original Volvo Penta, Yanmar or manufacturer part number whenever possible. This is usually the quickest way to find a matching replacement.
If the number is missing or unreadable, send us the complete engine model, serial number and clear photos of the old part and its connections. Include any labels or numbers that are still visible. We can then help you compare the available options before you order.
